Gabe Ruffolo, co-owner of Ruffolo's Hair Studio, started in the hair business in 1963, joining his brother Dick who had opened Ruffolo's Hair Studio previously. Upon 4 years later, he became co-owner and together they built the salon into one of the leading salons in the southern half of Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. Gabe won Barber of the Year in 1972 and together built the salon from two stylists to 16-18 stylists today. Recently the took on two partners, Stacy and Terri, who in June 2011, will become sole owners of Ruffolo's Hair Studio and Tanning Salon. They are sure Ruffolo's will continue to be a leader for many years to come. Gabe still enjoys doing hair today and especially enjoys his many guests who have become friends over the past 47 years.
